VIBEPACKR · SETUP & PROVISIONING

Server provisioning

For the administrator responsible for a new server. Desktop users should use Client provisioning.

1 · Check the supplied release

Match the supported Debian/CPU environment and appliance identity. Keep the frozen Golden reference distinct from any successor server payload. Check required resources, network policy and administrator access in Part.1.

2 · Verify before installation

Use the publisher-provided inventory and signature procedure. Then check every SHA256SUMS entry in the extracted server package. Stop on a digest, signature or platform mismatch.

Shell · Debian
sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS

3 · Run install.sh from the package root

The installer needs its matching binaries, services, public documents and release manifest. It is not a standalone download-and-run script. Run it only on the intended server with authorized administrator access.

Shell · Debian
sudo sh ./install.sh

4 · Complete setup and readiness checks

Follow the supplied VM administration guide for organization/installation identity, administrator setup, runtime binding and service readiness. Preserve the resulting release and installation identifiers.

5 · Prepare client access

Provide users with the expected server name, supported client release and approved enrollment/profile procedure. Keep individual device keys and certificates out of shared installers.
